This is my 9th grade English this I Believe Essay. I hope that you will read it and enjoy it.

 

This I Believe…
I believe that time is of the essence. That time won’t stop for you, but you will stop for time. That time is needed almost constantly. Time never stops no matter what the situation. If that means death or life. Don’t try to cheat time because it can find ways to get revenge.
In our daily lives time is of the very essence to live. We honestly can’t live without it. Our world wouldn’t be able to function without it. I always seem to think that I don’t have enough time. Mostly because I am involved in sports. Time will never wait for you. It just keeps rolling along without ever thinking to stop for anyone or anything. Some people with age almost always say that they wish they had more time, or that they didn’t have enough time.
Then there is the other people who think that time goes so slow. Man I wish I had their way of thought. Well I guess they might need to do more things for it to go faster. For example I will tell you a story about my schedule. First I wake up at about five in the morning just to get the most out of my day. Then I do everything to get ready for school, whether that means doing any extra homework or just getting ready and having spare time. Usually that will take me an hour to 30 minuets. Then I eat breakfast, wake up my mom, and then she takes me to school. Then here comes the most dreaded part of the day. School. It is a long seven hour day at school, but it only feels like seven minutes. Then I have football practice. Which can take up to two to three hours. Then after that long practice I go home, shower, eat dinner, do homework, and go to bed. During football season time is a big thing in my life. I don’t even really have time to think. Let me tell you it is really boring doing the same thing almost everyday.
So in conclusion time is important. It is a factor that everyone has to deal with in their lives. You will always end up wanting more time. So what I am really trying to get at here is to not take your time on this world for granted like I do. Take time to notice and cherish what is going on around you. Instead of just going through the same motions like I do. Live your life to the fullest with all of the time you have in it.
